Effective date: 2 November 2026
Are You Working is developed and operated by Sherwin Yanzy Enriquez under 1ANZ1 Corporation (“we”). This policy explains how the Windows app handles information and how we handle information you choose to send for support.
The app stores task names, groups, descriptions, notes, recorded sessions, time history, and preferences locally on your Windows device. We do not receive these records automatically. You do not need a separate Are You Working account.
We do not provide cloud backup or synchronization between devices. We do not sell your task information, use it for advertising, or include advertising or third-party behavioral analytics in the app.
To operate reminders and protect timer accuracy, the app checks elapsed time since your last keyboard or mouse input and receives Windows lock, sleep, resume, and shutdown events. It does not record what you type, capture screenshots, or record audio or video.
The app keeps a limited local diagnostic history of timer starts, stops, interruptions, and errors. A diagnostic export can include session timestamps and identifiers, stop reasons, app and Windows versions, and technical error details. Task names are excluded from the session list by default and can be included at your choice. Task descriptions and user notes are omitted from the structured diagnostic export. Error messages and file paths can nevertheless contain personal information, so review every report before sharing it.
Diagnostics are not uploaded automatically. Exporting a report saves a file; it does not send it to us.
For the Microsoft Store edition, Microsoft handles the trial, one-time purchase, payment processing, and Microsoft-account licensing. The app uses Microsoft Store licensing services to check trial or purchase status and obtain available product and localized price information. These checks are separate from your task records; the app does not send task names, notes, or time history to Microsoft for licensing.
We do not receive your payment-card details through the app. Microsoft processes Store and Windows information under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Restoring a purchase restores a license, not your local task history.
You can edit task information and time entries, export time history to CSV, and create or restore local backups using the app’s Data menu. Archiving a task hides it from the active task list; it does not delete its history.
You are responsible for making and safeguarding backups. Trial expiry does not intentionally delete your records, but uninstalling or resetting the Store app, losing your device, or storage failure can remove local data. Keep important backups outside the app’s managed data folder.
To remove all local records, close the app and remove its data and diagnostic files, or use Windows’ app reset option where available. Contact us for help locating the correct folder for your installation. Delete unwanted exports and backups separately. Files saved to a folder synchronized by Windows, OneDrive, or another service may be copied by that service under your own settings; the app does not operate that backup or synchronization.
Local databases, exports, and backups are not encrypted by the app. Windows account permissions and any device encryption you enable help protect them. Anyone with sufficient access to your device or exported files may be able to read them.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, investigate problems, and maintain app reliability. Please send only what is needed and remove sensitive details first.
Support messages are processed through our email provider, Google, and may be stored or processed outside your country. The Google Sites website is also hosted by Google and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not use the website to upload or synchronize your task database automatically.
We retain support information only as needed to handle the request, related troubleshooting, and applicable legal obligations. We do not sell it. We may disclose information to service providers supporting these purposes or when legally required.
You control your local records, exports, backups, and whether to share diagnostics. We cannot retrieve, export, or erase files stored only on your device remotely.
For information you have sent us, contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, or exercise other rights available under applicable law. We will respond as required by that law. You may also contact your local privacy regulator. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
We will update this policy when our data practices change and revise the effective date. Cloud backup, device synchronization, or other future services will require updated disclosures before being introduced.
